  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 7g dry yeast

For the Dough:

  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups flour bread, all-purpose, or whole wheat
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

For Brushing:

  • Soy milk oil-free or olive oil (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Activate the Yeast

  • In a medium bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and flour. Add the dry yeast, mix gently, and let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy.

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (355°F). Divide dough into 8 equal portions and shape into buns. Place on a baking sheet.

Step 5: Second Rise

  • Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes until doubled in size.

Step 6: Brush & Bake

  • Brush with soy milk or olive oil for a golden top. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and fluffy.
